Accommodation

Lyrebird Bed & Breakfast is around 100 years old and has wonderful rustic charm.  We have lovingly restored part of the house over the past few months including a mixture of old and new to maintain the original style.  Rumour has it that Vladimir Petrov from the “Petrov Affair” who was a Russian colonel in the KGB, defected and hid in this house in 1954.

To enjoy some of this peaceful, rustic charm, there is the option to book the Rainbow Lorikeet Room which is a double Queen room with en suite, or Lyrebird Lodge, a two bedroom self-contained apartment with all mod cons and its own private entrance.

There are two fabulous veranda’s with a leafy outlook across the district & Blue Mountains surrounded by trees, one which has a hammock for a lazy afternoon read or nap.  With plenty of birdlife to keep you entertained, this includes our very own resident bush turkeys roaming around to the amusment of our visitors.

Wi-Fi is available free upon request and Foxtel is available in both the B&B and the lodge.  There are two spare car spaces for guests with plentiful off street parking available as well.
