Alternatively, sit back and read a book, laze in a hammock or enjoy learning about the Australian bush and wildlife with Blue Gum Reserve and Lane Cove National Park close by.

Situated in Roseville on the lower North Shore we are only 11km and a twenty minute train ride from Sydney’s Central Business District. With the convenience of both Roseville and Chatswood train stations, cafes, restaurants and shops within a ten minute walk from Lyrebird B&B, you have everything you need within easy reach.

The Accommodation

With the choice of 2 rooms in our B&B, or a 2 bedroom self-contained suite with private entrance, you can enjoy your stay in luxury accommodation which has been refurbished with every little detail in mind for your comfort and convenience. You can ensure a home away from home with our newly renovated rooms, a great outdoors veranda to relax on and a library full of interesting books and information on Australia.

Graeme and Sarah are also very knowledgeable and well travelled hosts, who can advise you on the traditional “must see” tourist places as well as the “off the beat and track” things to do in Sydney & NSW.

Our B&B is currently under renovation and due to open its doors in early December 2010 but we are taking bookings now!   Lyrebird Lodge is also under renovation and will be opening  at the end of July 2010.  We are already taking bookings on this accommodation so please get in touch to make further enquiries.
